MODE SELECTION USB EDITION

Mode Selection is an application that, when launched, will give the user two 
options to activate. "party mode" and "calm mode".

When the user presses on of the buttons, a batch file is executed which starts 
a windows media playlist.

SETUP:

1. First, copy the music files that you want the party mode button to activate
to the folder named "mode". 

2. the "calmmode.wav" file is the calm mode music. you can replace it with any 
.wav file that you want, just rename it to "calmmode.wav".

3. go into the "mode" folder and select all the party mode music files you copied.

4. right click the selected files, and click play. remember, windows media player has to be your 
default music player for this to work.

5. Now your party mode music should be playing.

6. in windows media player, go to file > save now playing list as and save it in your "mode" folder as "partymode.wpl".

7. now, you can close windows media player and go back to the root of your USB drive. open selectmode.exe.

8. if all went well, you can click on
"party mode" or "calm mode" and the corresponding music will play.

NOTES:

1. Calm mode doesn't need setting up because it is a single file

2. If you want to distribute these files you are free to do so, but you WILL NOT tell them that you made it.

open or save the file and extract it to the ROOT OF YOUR USB DRIVE using any .zip extractor such as winzip or winrar.
